Aboriginal Tribe Djabuganydiji

During my stay in Cairns, I went to visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. When visiting other countries, I always try to find different native cultures for two reasons. First off, because they are a whole lot different than Western cultures. Also because I love imagining what my visit could be like if Western civilization didn’t invade Australia and Aboriginals culture and customs were predominant in Australia.

I wore the makeup for my flight back home – 17hrs on a plane 🙂

In the past I have stayed in a Zulu village in South Africa, with Navajo Native Americans, and visited native Tahitians in the South Pacific. It was so amazing to add the Aboriginal Djabuganydiji tribe of Australia to that list. This is the same tribe that invented the boomerang, which I was able to try throwing… and it actually did come back LOL 😉
