Cape Tribulation is a super isolated town with one store, one bar, 2 hostels
and maybe 20 houses. Also – they are so isolated that they have to be self-sufficient (power, water, trash etc)
which makes it’s the largest community of this sort in Australia.
There were signs all over to watch out for the crocodiles, and giant spiders all
around the tropical rainforest. Of cours that also meant I couldn’t swim in the ocean because of jelly fish!

While in the rainforest, I took time to go ‘jungle surfing’ aka ziplining, across the area. It was fun to be flying
above trees that were thousand years old (I had no idea) but also this was the first time I ATE AN ANT. And it was delicious!!!
Although a little sour. (Yes, I am a cheating pescatarian lol).

Thanks Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours for taking me for a ride.
You’re so cool! I don’t suppose I’ve read something like that before.
So wonderful to discover another person with some genuine thoughts
on this subject. Seriously.. thanks for starting this up.
This website is something that’s needed on the internet, someone with a bit of
originality!
